  1. ​ @saharagold  I don't think it's a recent thing. Back in the 1800s, works that are heralded as masterpieces today were a laughingstock when they were created because they didn't fit the popular style of the time.

  2. The overwhelming majority of people on earth, ESPECIALLY successful ones, are mediocre, uncreative, and unintelligent. That's just the reality. So, I don't bother with them.
