  1. Eh, I get what he's saying, and I guess to an extent I agree with it, but if saddens me that I have to agree, if that makes sense. Even though his views are 100% feminist, he knows that if he says it, way too many men will immediately stop listening to and agreeing with his feminist talking points. And we need as many men agreeing with feminist ideals and we can get. I think the same goes for a lot of issues, people focus too much on the label, and not nearly enough on the message.

  3. I truly hate that. If you're intending to have kids explicitly because you want them to care for you, then you shouldn't have kids. It's the single most selfish thing anybody can do.

  6. I absolutely idolized her when I was a kid, but now that I'm an adult I can't enjoy her music anymore, because of the messed up views she has. I'm glad you brought up the "tough love" angle, because I absolutely hate how abusive parenting is normalized in the black community to the point where you get flooded with hate even for bringing it up. As if criticizing said abuse is attacking black culture in and of itself.

The only thing they're proving by defending this film is that they're the kind of man women like me are terrified of and avoid like the plague. Also, of course Falling Down is a Joel Schumacher movie. Of course it is. Nothing funnier than terrorizing women and minorities, amirite? Ha ha! So funny!
