  1. Yes...it really hits you hard, doesn't it? Thank goodness that there are nations willing to shelter these people, who are terrified and fearing for their lives. They have no home to go back to anymore. It's gotta be so scary, living in a country where you don't even have a good command of the native language, all to provide your children the safety and prosperity you never had.

  2. I disagree. I understand she's got an illness, but she's trying to keep animals in that awful state, and there's just no excuse for that. It's actually a relief she never married and has no children, because to be forced to grow up in that environment is nothing short of child abuse. That poor cat needs to be removed from her care. Not only that, but when the cameras aren't pointed at her she turns extremely nasty, as the help she was offered can attest. I mean, she IS a baby boomer, after all. I'm just hesitant to believe that she's as saintly as she comes off in front of the camera, you know?

  3. The bit with the plaque was moving. And a bit shocking, that it's even possible to come up with 3,000 quid just off of recycling cans! How many years did that take? It's just a shame that she didn't really change anything by the end. All those months, wasted. She's never going to change. Please, for the love of all things good, take her cat away. It's abuse to let it languish in that garbage. No heat, no fresh water, nothing. It's horrid. Shame on Jasmine and her crew to sit by and do nothing for that poor animal.
