  2. Kidgreen14 I don't know where you're getting that "majority" idea from other than up your own ass. All of my female friends (and most of my guy friends) are outspoken feminists, and none of us are like that whatsoever. You see, here's the funny thing, those women who do that terrible crap? They aren't feminists. They're just cunts. Although the video game thing has a lot of merit. Just look up "Bechdel Test". I suppose you think all Christians are puritanical bigots, as well. Or all vegans are PETA-certified nutjobs. Or all Muslims are terrorists. You have to, because otherwise you'd be a blatant  woman-hating asshole, other than just your run-of-the-mill ignoramus.

  3. truebinx Ah, okay. ^^ I remembered it as a sort of warning against homogenized culture and societal stagnation by choice. I see what you mean, though. Isn't that awesome about reading books, how wildly different our interpretations can be? Although don't ask me to discuss the ending...I think both our heads would asplode.

  4. I'll never understand this all-consuming obsession with celebrity. I really don't. I don't get how TMZ is a thing. I don't get how Paris Hilton continues to be (or ever was) popular.  I mean, hero worship has been pretty ingrained in our society, but for fuck's sake, there's a limit, people! Especially when it comes to, you know, not heroes. Especially when you consider that firemen and most military personnel get paid dismally, whereas someone who gets in front of a camera and says something mildly witty gets millions upon millions.
