  3. I love how the OP has yet to respond. You want to know what most of the budget goes to? Defense spending and tax subsidies. As in, for rich people. You wanna talk about welfare spending? How about corporate welfare? The people that ACTUALLY need it get shafted.

  4. Bitter Disillusionment I don't think corporate tax breaks should count as welfare. You're right, and kudos for providing a valid source, but again, "corporate welfare" isn't the same thing as the OP means. But you can't expect him to be able to decipher the difference between giving corporations billions of dollars vs feeding and clothing children.
