  1. ritchie frostwood Even so, I've worked with a lot of Indians in the tech industry, and I was shocked at how barbaric their mentality could be. They'd report their first day of work and see that I, a young woman, was their boss. You could see how visibly shaken they were. I've even had some interviewees walk out on me citing that as their reason for turning down the job offer. They've built entire databases out of nothing and have master's degrees, but can't cope with a younger woman holding power over them. I've also seen them struggle with simple concepts like traffic laws and child endangerment (had a couple on my street who let their kids play smack in the middle of a busy road, when CPS came they honestly didn't know there was a problem). They're not stupid people, many I've known were quite brilliant, even. They're just living in an outdated cultural standard that can't possibly hope to coexist with today's modernized, forward-thinking Western society.
