  1. It's amazing how stories like these can bring out a person's true colors. I showed this to my friend's husband along with the one about private prisons intentionally feeding maggot-infested food to inmates, and he simply stated "Good. Serves the worthless lowlifes right." So all of the non-violent drug offenders who shouldn't even be IN there, and all the wrongfully convicted, this guy enjoys the thought of them getting violently ill and dying horrible, painful, protracted deaths.

  2. The Constitution. Also, only a small fraction of the prison population are rapists and murderers. Do you really feel comfortable damning some kid who got caught with a joint to die?

  4. There's a reason that we have the highest prison population in the world, as well as the highest recidivism rate at a whopping 67%. And that reason is, we suck.

  5. The 8th amendment is quite clear. A non-violent drug offender that's been sentenced to an already ridiculous ten years does not deserve to have that become a life sentence.
