I remember reading a Cracked article written by a jailer from Guantanamo, and getting really, thoroughly pissed off when he basically said "yeah we know there are innocent guys, but there are also cold blooded genocidal maniacs so we can't let anyone go or shut the place down. Sucks for the innocents, but WELP, what're ya gonna do?"

  3. That, sadly, is the one thing Australia kept that we did not - when their government began pulling this crap the Queen of England literally came in and fired all their asses. Every. Last. One. And then held emergency elections to get competent people in their seats. Oh, how I wish we had that option.
