  2. Dan Cooke That's the problem, I couldn't pay it. It eventually defaulted and now my credit is completely and utterly ruined. Can't get a loan of any amount for any reason, can't buy a car or a home, and I likely won't be able to for at least a decade. I can't even get married to my wonderful fiance (we had a ceremony but never got a license) because that would mean his perfect credit would get trashed, as well.
