1:00 Sigh. No, it hasn't, the "research" is ridiculously flawed. The kid they claimed did it wasn't even in the same town anymore by the day of the incident. Vincent had attempted several times before. He did it. Period. He went back down the hill after the deed cuz LOTS of people have second thoughts after an attempt. Just look at the survivors of the Bay bridge. The survival instinct is terribly strong. And just cuz no powder burns were remarked doesn't mean they weren't there. He was a pauper, everyone who treated him tended to, well...not do their due diligence, shall we say. So the bullet trajectory and other details may have been inaccurately reported cuz the ones documenting it just wanted to get it over with.
