Meh, it's actually quite good! If you didn't know what was and someone served it to you, you'd probably like it!

I think it's statistically impossible for us to be alone. I mean, the universe is huge. Like, incomprehensibly, infinity-minus-one huge! We now know that water is far more common than we thought, as are habitable planets. We can only see a fraction of the universe, light just won't travel fast and far enough after a point, and what we CAN see is mindbogglingly expansive. There's no way we're alone, and that gives me a warm fuzzy feeling.

I love the lecture, but the animated guy is creepy as hell...next time just go CPGrey style and just have the animation with a voiceover, this is just....like Doug Funnie with a pedosmile.

He states very plainly that we aren't sure, and that these are all postulates, even though we've proven facets of string theory, there is no answer for the theory as a whole. But it is still a fascinating thing to think about, He isn't "making stuff up", these are all very real theorems put forth by some of the smartest minds alive on Earth. If you really call foul on anything in life just because it seems to huge and too wondrous to comprehend, then I truly pity your lack of imagination.

My apologies...I've been in a bad mood lately but that's no excuse to insult you like that. :/ I'm deeply sorry. It's always good to meet someone who still questions known certainties, that's often the best kind of critical thinker. Otherwise we'd all be idiots who still think the world is flat.
