  1. It's not just the FDA, It's your company, and every other food product manufacturer in the US. It's all a vile cesspool of corruption, deregulation, and the government defanging the FDA to the point where they no longer even have the power to fine people found breaking food regulations, because lobbyists don't want the FDA to be able to hold them accountable. You don't see this nonsense in Europe because they actually care about standards, and food inspection agencies have the power to shut down anyone who doesn't uphold the stringent standards set there for food grade items.

  2. This is why I never buy olive oil at the grocery here in the US. And I grow my own herbs, cuz you can't trust food in the US, you simply can't. In Europe you see this far less often, cuz they actually have standards. The US? Not so much.
