@knightheaven8992 True, but men and women typically externalize it in different ways, although it's obviously not monolithic. Men will be physically imposing, and sometimes even spill over into violence. Women tend to raise their voices and break you down with their words, attacking any aspect of you they know will cut deep. Both can be equally devastating.

@saint_gales Doesn't change the fact that, like always, the audience sympathizes with him and looks at him as the good guy. Right along with Bojack, Walter White, the Joker, and Rick Sanchez.

I agree on all counts. Men like Tony don't have happy endings, and the unhappiest of all is if he'd lived a full life. The only real tragedy is that his innocent family had to suffer one final trauma by having to witness his death.

It's almost like he's desperately trying to convince himself of his father's good nature, more than anyone else.

My dad would do that thing where he just stands over you, glaring down at you, silently. It's like a bear trap about to go off, you're terrified to move or even breathe, for fear of triggering it. To this day, I can't handle anyone staring at me when they're mad. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I'm so, so sorry.

It really is. My dad would hold me up by the shoulders and his eyes would bug out in rage. I can't take it, man...I just can't. I still shy away from anyone who stares at me in anger or even mild annoyance.

@Raylan Givens True, but you have to want to be better. Tony didn't.
