Well said I’m 29 I love all the self improvement talk and all but this is the real reality. I find it very hard logically to participate in society and dating with the current set up. Right now for the past say 5 years my drives have diminished. Used to the goal was to get though school then to get a job then to work hard. Well working hard in corporate America is a losing proposition. Dating o good lord that’s been on my back burner since college. These days my motivation consists of making money and surviving to get to the next book in a series I’m reading, a new video game or a new show I want to watch. I tried really hard to keep up with friends but it’s very one sided I live 2 hours away from my closest friends and most everyone has no desire to plan any trips or do anything significant. I tried planning a few events to have everyone say yeah that’s awesome only to cancel a week or so before and this has happened multiple times so I’m done trying. Overall I have had to tailor my wants and goals to much smaller checkpoints like books and games otherwise it’s constant disappointment. Appreciate the video keep it up. Hopefully the next generation being born now might have a shot if we can start fixing this stuff now. But most likely my line dies here but historically in my tree only the women have ever had kids ironically goes back like 4 generations of none of the guys having kids. Be curious if there’s any genetics 🧬 on that.

As a devout Christian man my paralysis starts with the laws and marriages today. Why date when my end goal does not seem feasible in the western climate. That’s by far my biggest hang up then we gotta go through in person game text game all the red flags to vet. It’s just hard not to look at it through numbers and go what’s the return. No way no one in a successful business would make that deal. I fight a lot with the logic side of my head vs the religious side of my head. So definitely in that overthinking realm but it’s not a small decision.

It’s all well and good but the reality is many people don’t have special ability that they can capitalize on like that. It’s called being average for a reason you can get better you can skill up, but with the world market the likelihood you’re the best is very low that’s all there is to it. It’s just basic math not everyone can be the best in a field even if they specialize.

@ I actually hate the idea of bankruptcy so many people go live the high life then just get to start over. You see it quite a bit on financial audit I’m not a fan of that but yeah that’s probably what he should do I’m sure he knows about it.

Always appreciate these talks cause a lot of times we get lost talking about improvement and finding a woman. But in the US it just does not add up or make sense for I’d say 90% even for rich men there’s little benefit.

@ correct but make no mistake the likelihood your gonna excel or be the best is low. This is reality you are not the main character in a tv show where years of a hardworking montage leads to success. Just trying to keep everyone in reality as well. To many get disillusioned thinking because they did everything right sacrificed and did their best they will succeed and that’s just not true.

Has he had any interest dating. Look like it or not that’s how men are programmed. Most start off with improving to get girls then later you learn to improve cause it helps you personally. But that’s kind of the gateway to this whole thing frankly.

Man you’d be surprised how much that limits options these days it’s rather sad I already see a ton at 28. Many 24-26 even already got a divorce under their belt I avoid them like the plague. But many of the younger ones are notoriously the hottest unfortunately 😂
