Your 24 wish you all the best with that but you’re already well out of the norm marrying that earlier. I’m also guessing you dated seriously early on and you didn’t sleep around I assume. If that’s true I don’t think you realize how low a percent that is today. Secondly for marriage and family you can only control half that equation so that’s a reality you can’t just go do it like buying something. Add in the lack of morals rampant hookup culture and the economics no it’s not easier than it’s ever been that’s just statistically and objectively not true. We have the numbers now did previous generations have their own struggles sure at least us men aren’t being drafted yet. But those men also had family and loved ones to fight for and a nation that loved them. The current culture of the US is not encouraging for people to work hard to build families in a society that hates them. Again you do what you can and seriously wish you all the best for the love of god take your marriage seriously and never get divorced. Unfortunately much of these issues also stem from what I call the divorce Olympics the boomers did so that had a major long term effect. If you’d like a sneak peak of my prediction I would like to recommend a book It’s called a world without men and analysis of an all female economy it has some good points and interesting predictions for the future in there if your interested author is Aaron Clarey

  13. Not really if you watch the full episode Matt very much realizes he’s a bit out of touch with how bad it can be. We are mostly talking past each other red pill has an issue with Marriage as a legal contract not a spiritual contract. The issue is the government is lord over your relationship not god today that’s the biggest problem. And when god isn’t who you abide by your more likely to divorce or be bad husbands and wives. And the marriage laws are outdated and terrible. But I disagree on the triggering thing I think Matt realized he keeps getting upset about people bad mouthing marriage it’s not the idea of marriage it’s the legal contract they are lampooning not the idea.

  19.  @Immolate62  yes however again new dating deal for you a lot of women I know a few from college become Christian solely to find a good man. So not really Christian at all. It’s become a very common thing cause that’s where the good men with less experience with women go. And I’d argue men always did that difference today is we know the body counts and damage today, before we weren’t aware.

I don’t thing the older generation really understands what’s out there today. Again there are good ones sure but there are so few even in church from what I have seen. I really would say just be patient with him cause seriously women are a major issue today. Most have done hook up culture and have tons of emotional damage. Unfortunately what happens as you get older you start getting those women and the single moms wanting the good Christian man to come pick up the pieces. Lastly lack of real Christian values today and a serious lack of feminine women. I take out tattoos and piercings like the nose and stuff that knocks out a lot of women today. I’d just seriously advocate patience cause you really have no clue how bad it is in the dating market. Tell him to stay the hell off dating apps!!

Sadly you also pointed out divorces are high in Christian marriages unfortunately I have seen this as well all I can do is be a good man today and pray be aware and maybe I’ll get a good one that won’t require I sign that contract but I totally get it!

  23.  @sylviamey  there’s is definitely a large portion of it being lazy but I think your missing the big picture of this. Again don’t have your story but if you look at the data one of the reasons people are having trouble buying homes is because people are buying homes as single people. There is a much larger portion of single home owners than there has ever been before. It’s why I hop in heavily with the dating and marriage subjects. People are not getting together so you are now trying to get a house with one income which is a new thing. And even then housing has still jumped drastically in just 4 years so it’s getting exponentially harder much faster than other historic trends. We are also looking at numbers similar to the 1970s for stagflation. Again it’s not a simplistic answer now I would like to get rid of the welfare state then you’d see a lot less lazy people.

  27. At 28 years old as a man the discussion at min 57:30 I have done everything myself never had a woman’s support or affection and now I’m kinda good I’m doing well. I overcame all my hardships alone I faced the Loneliness and struggles alone. So at this stage yes with my experience a woman today mostly comes off as a high risk and little else. Part of that is cause I kept my head down worked hard so I would be a stable good man. And truthfully I lost a good amount of women to what the red pill calls chad or the bad boy. None of the girls married that guy but after being passed on I moved on. So I think he’s right you spend most of your life alone through the struggles and hardship there’s nothing to build with I already built it now the only thing that can happen is it being taken away. Or the benefit of children but with the economics and choices of women left I don’t have a high interest anymore.

  39.  @Gingerblaze  fortunately I grew up in a conservative Christian household vetted my sisters now husband the old school older brother deal she wanted my opinion they dated 8 years and got married and are doing very well. He was a friend of mine that she had an interest in. Fortunately she offered the same and did not like any of the women she had as friends or was around. She’s like they are good friends but I’d never recommend any of them for you. Originally I was like she’s being nice now after years and the red pill stuff I am aware it’s not just me I bet many good Christian men went through this.

No issue with genuine ones but seen a few good men have the wool pulled over their eyes ah that’s the past she won’t cheat anymore. Ring ring what’s up man I just got home and my wife was cheating on me 😭😭. That’s sucks man that divorce is going to cost half your life should’ve listened to me man. Sure I’ll help you move your stuff. I also am a bit more jaded as I had a friend get falsely accused title 9 in college by what I thought was a super sweet Christian girl so our experience like it or not does color our views. Again fortunately my best friend found a great one so far and all his friends from college each got good ones but many of them are on 1-2 years in so prayers it stays that way. But after 28 years I’ve got mostly negative interactions rejection which is part of the game. Disdain, creep wow you’ve only had 2 girlfriends what’s wrong with you what do you mean sex after marriage and a lot of women find a guy being a virgin very off putting today. So I just don’t think this generation is the time for a man like myself I’d go with we can both work but one’s taking care of the kids for at least 7-8 years at home gotta have siblings it’s important in my opinion. And that’s just not in high supply and frankly a lot of the great women got married off early as they should. I just argue I think we didn’t raise enough good women for the amount of good men. Then you add the economics and the vitriol towards men today it’s not encouraging truthfully!

The average American woman today is 5 4 170 pounds. Sorry call it shallow whatever but the lack of physically attractive women is a big stake driven through marriage as well.
