  1. ​ @mal2ksc  That's why Russia must pay full reparations for damage, disruption of economic activity, disruption of lives, deaths and injuries in Ukraine before any sanctions on Russia can be removed. It's also important that after the war Ukraine is accepted into the EU and NATO so that investors feel confident and safe to invest in Ukraine and are not afraid to invest because of fear of another potential Russian invasion.

  2. There is somewhat of a difference as Moscow and the Soviet Union in general in 1941 did not have freedom of the press unlike what Ukraine more or less has today. Try reporting in a Soviet newspaper in 1941 that the Soviet Union is losing the war and one could get in a lot of trouble.
