Imagine Trump and Putin (possibly the two most untrustworthy people in the world) creating a "peace treaty" in Saudi Arabia and then telling Ukrainians that the treaty will guarantee the end of Russian aggression against Ukraine and the continued existence of the country of Ukraine. If you were Ukrainian would you trust those regularly lying, imperialist, greedy demagogues in that situation? I don't think that anyone in their right mind would trust them, especially when the continued existence of a country is at stake.

@wesleydeng71 How much countries spend on their own defence forces is irrelevant. What matters is how much support they have given Ukraine and Canada has given Ukraine a lot of support in terms of money, weapons and political support. Imagine if the Canadian deputy prime minister hadn't pushed western countries to freeze Russian assets. That alone was a massive hit against the Russian war effort. The situation for Russia and for its military would not be nearly so bad if Canada had not pushed for the freezing of Russian assets.

@jerrymiller9039 The 5 year olds in kindergarten at any local school are more qualified than Trump. More mature than Trump, no signs of senility, can distinguish between truth and fiction, don't go off on bizarre, deranged rants, don't carry on toddler temper tantrums for years, don't run fake universities or fake charities, don't sexually assault women, don't constantly get in trouble with the law, don't have unpaid bills, don't run casinos into bankruptcy, don't threaten to invade other countries, don't inject disinfectant, don't stab friends in the back, etc., etc.
