  2. A potential significant decline in the price of oil in 2025 won't help Russia if it happens. Oil prices could fall because of increased production in countries in the Americas and because Saudi Arabia and other OPEC countries may have given up trying to raise oil prices and thus may increase production to try to grab more market share. As well there is stagnant demand from China that may continue and the possibility that Trump's clumsy, amateur attempts to change the economy will lead to a world wide trade war and thus to world wide economic stagnation or even a world wide recession.
