Islam was never a problem when us Catholics ran the show, in fact, we actually sent our own people into occupied land and secured it (for a while at least).

  6.  @declaringpond2276  Telling me that i'm incapable of thinking for myself while giving me a bastardized version of history, is laughable. 1. England never had a revolution, we're not France or America. 2. The people who ran to America were puritans or members of the 'free churches', or seperatists. 3. Science began thousands of years ago and was an ongoing process. The only people who believe in magical sky fairies are people like you who think that we do. And i don't hate people who are different, i merely recognise the natural order, and live in accordance with it's precepts.

  9.  @SCI_WALKER  Communism isn't free speech, it's open treason. And the reconciliation is easy, because peadophilia goes against the sexual ethics taught by the church. It wasn't organised peadophilia, it was an organised cover-up of the peadophilia. And as most of the peadophiles in the church were homosexual, Pope Francis is now discouraging homosexual clergy, so this won't be happening in the future.

Pushing 'equality' actually leads to totalitarianism because it has to be imposed upon society by the state from the top-down, whereas Christianity creates self-reliant people who police their own conscience, without the state, from the bottom-up.
