  8.  Saleucami  All ancient cultures were barbaric before Christian ethics (the obligation to do unto others.....). And it was technology and science that killed off European beliefs and culture by rendering them moot, not Christianity, in fact Christians almagamated pagan beliefs with Christianity, evidenced by the adoption of pagan philosophy into Christian theology and pagan festivals into the Christian calandar.
