  5.  goff0103  Anglo Saxons make us the vast majority of the English population. The celts migrated to Cornwall and Wales, and the vikings inhabited north-eastern England. And the French only replaced the Saxon nobility, they had very little impact upon the existing population.

  6.  @firstnamett4656  True. After the Roman legions left Britain there were frequent raids by the Scots and Irish, who either killed or enslaved the people (Saint Patrick was taken as a slave to Ireland). And there were frequent famines during this time also.
