@joebloggs5186 You're just not bright enough to grasp to philosophical meaning behind the mystery of the faith. It had real wisdom and truth disguided behind allegory and metaphorical langauge. Enjoy the rotten fruits of modernity, you deserve them.

You haven't tasted the fruit of the divine mystery. You're in love with transient existence, something which you cannot contain with certainty even for a single day. You're simply distracting yourself until the final moment when you're released from the common curse of all mortal man (death). The great thing about the divine mystery is that it cannot be experienced, or should I say defiled, by the proud. Those who seek a sign will not get one, only those who have faith will be given the assurance of everlasting life. As Saint Anselm wrote: "“I believe in order that I may understand.”

@Tony-uq8tn Well, then enjoy the time you got left Tony. You're not even certain of seeing tomorrow, is this how you wanted to spend your last day on earth, arguing over the internet about something that doesn't exist? If you really believed it all ends at death, we wouldn't be having this conversation, which is why i firmly believe most atheists are still religious in essense. But i hope you do live a long life. I hope you get off the internet and have a good new year with your friends and family, instead of wasting it behind a screen.

@Tony-uq8tn I'm only spreading the truth i know in my heart. Either way we both die, we both end up in the exact same condition, therefore what i personally believe is an irrelevance. And as life and the universe are still largely a mystery, why not accept that God could exist? You would have to have all knowledge to positively state that there is no God. And what if you're wrong, ever thought about that? Maybe the educator has become the educated?
