  6. Sell to who? These are priceless architectural masterpeices and artworks. The buildings and art are an expression of the divine, which aid in uplifting the heart and mind to God. And the makers of these fine pieces wanted them to be displayed in the Vatican for the church.

  7.  HMQ  The Church rarely forces on hell, we're not puritans. And it's not a dress, it's traditional vestments denoting someone set aside for a greater purpose, not unlike the garment worn by a philosopher in ancient Greece. Symbolism has power.

  9.  HMQ  I've already read Crime and Punishment, great book. Jesus often refered to hell as 'outer darkness'. Perhaps hell is just an eternal non-being, or limbo. Afterall, what is hell but an eternal seperation from God? Heaven therefore is reserved for those souls enlightened by divine love.
