The weather works by set laws, God doesn't intervene unless via a miracle. God prefers to change humans hearts within, than manipulate the weather.

@jeromebullard6123 Cancer is an abberation, it's not the intended state of a human, just like a broken bone is not the intended state of bone. The intended state of a human is to be healthy, hence the reason why the vast majority of people in the world are healthy. Do you give thanks to God for your health? Do you give thanks to God for not having suffered like a child with cancer? You curse the very Creator that made it possible for you curse him: "Shall the clay rise in pride against Him who fashioned it?". The very height of folly. A world were there is no suffering and death was the garden of Eden, but our first parents decided to enter the realm of duality, where the possibility for evil and disfunction was brought into being (original sin). But despite our sin, God still wishes all to be healthy in both body and soul, which is why he now offers life eternal to those who humble themselves enough to be grateful and thankful for their undeserved life.

@jeromebullard6123 I just answered your question to the best of my ability. And so let me ask you: Why do you love this world when it tries to kill you with a whole host of diseases and natural disasters? Why do you believe living is preferable over not living? And if there is no hope of life eternal, then the pursuit of knowledge, pleasure, love and family, is a futile endevour, it's just simply pleasuring the senses until the senses can no longer sense, and a slow race to grave where everything you spent all your life, all your blood sweat and tears over, rots away into nothingness or taken over by people you never even knew.
