Spag Hetti, I remember reading in Samual Pepy's diary that he once met two English sailors who were kept as slaves in north Africa, but very few people in the modern world even know about this important piece of history. We seem to be only selectively outraged at historical atrocities when it fits a certain narrative.

  3. All we ever hear about is the Atlantic slave trade, but what we don't hear about is the barbary slave trade, where Arabs enslaved white Europeans up until the 18thcentury, even going so far as to raid southern England for slaves. Little bit of unknown yet factual history.
