What we have here is the classic case of a Christian-atheist attacking their own misconception of Christianity, using Christian morality, lol. "Maybe they should stop raping little boys" But David, what wrong with raping little boys? They did it in ancient Greece and nothing really matter once were dead, so.....

@johnjohntv1195 "It’s impossible for a god to be all knowing, and free will to co exist." God knowing that you're going to do something doesn't mean He will make you do it, he just already knows. And yes, God knew that free will would mean that sin would be possible, but now you know why He sent Christ.

@AcidR3action God is all-loving and merciful to anyone who genuinely turns to Him. As for dying children (which i know you will bring up), their very existence (short as it was ) was entirely dependant upon God in the first place. And as we are intended to be healthy (evidenced by the vast majority of mankind being healthy) and free from danger (evidenced by having the ability to prepare for it), God wishes for us to have a long, happy and fruitful life, but an unfortunate consequences of living in the world is that we can suffer, but this is not God's will.

@AcidR3action A happy slavery or a sad liberty, which is worse? Being a child is a happy slavery, but when we reach a certain age, that happy slavery becomes a burden to the soul. We instinctly know that in order to grow as an individual we must fly the nest. At first this is a sad liberty because the comfort of our childhood is over, but we know that the only way to grow is to accept and embrace the sad liberty of adult responsibility, which comes with the possibility of failure, but if successful, consequently turns to a happy liberty. So the whole purpose of free will is growth. But of course this is only because WE freely chose duality over the garden of Eden, we flew the nest. The whole purpose of Christianity is to, once again, become a happy slave to Christ, but this time it's by our own volition.
