  1. "civilised world" lol UK: 42% divorce rate. 200'000 abortions annually. 25% of all British children now raised in single-parent homes. I'm no fan of the middle east, but the idea that the West is still civilised Christian empire, is laughable.

  3. No, the western model is self-defeating. Just because a sinking ship hasn't reached the ocean floor yet doesn't mean that it won't.

  4. Anbyrdnes, True, it is an extreme, but the west is the opposite extreme, with unrestrained liberty leading to a disfunctional society. When the concept of 'liberty' overrides sociel cohesion, then it becomes a self-defeating position, and therefore false.

  6. Anbyrdnes, At least you recognise that there is a problem, i'd really love to hear your solution to 'bringing us back a few decades', although i'd say that the problem began much earlier than simply a few decades ago.
