  3. Terrorism isn't exclusive to religious adherents, and have you never encounted football hooligans? People die in those pointless street fights, simply for supporting the wrong team. Stop being so narrow minded and understand that's it's human nature that's at fault.....which is actually something religion recongnises and even tries to rectify.

  6. @david angwin, No one's saying you can't be a good person without religion, but even our society is influenced by Christian morality, which means that even you are influenced by it. Why shouldn't someone do something 'wrong' if it's beneficial to himself or the vast majority of people? (utilitarianism). I can rationalise wrong-doing using atheism surprisingly quite easily.

  8. @Skankhunt42, "because they always" Sorry but these sort of statements are just false. 'They' don't always do what you say they do, that's a major generalisation. It may be true of some, but not all and certainly not all the time. If you have a problem with the Christians in your own family, then deal with it on a personal level and stop bringing the rest of us into it. Also, saying things like "Being good in Christianity means killing non believers" is so evidently false that i have to question your motives here. Seems like you have a personal problem with Christians in your own family, but please don't allow that to cloud your reasoning.
