Progressivism is like sailing a ship round in circles and thinking you're getting somewhere simply because you're moving forward. It's progress for the sake of progress, changing things because it make you feel like you're making a difference, when it's actually just the destruction of goodness and beauty. And you've gone that far in your blindness that you actually give people with mental disorders power and influence in society, to the point where it's actually harming children and women. Your short-sightedness is astounding.

The West is a Christian civilisation which believes in morals and standards, but that God is final arbiter and judge over sinful behaviour. This is a very important distinction to make. And Christianity is freedom. You cannot have a truly free society without some form of structure in place and some form of self-policing by the majority of the public. Anarchy isn't freedom, it's chaos. And mankind in the raw is a self-serving and wicked creature, which has to be trained to be good, which is exactly what our very successful Christian civilisation has done, you just cannot see it because it's all pervasive.

Reminds me of Justin Martyr and Saint Augustine, both philosophers and both went through the many philosophical schools of thought before arriving at the ultimate philosophy: Christianity. And Christianity teaches that chaos surrounds us, but it doesn't surround us as much these days due to the great influence of Christianity in our civilsation, something which you yourself benefit from. And again, you're thinking in black-and-white. Many Christians during the colonial era were led by selfless love and decried the abuse of native people. One good example is that of Antonio de Montesinos, a Dominican friar on the Island of Hispaniola.

You don't have the absolute right to choose, you have the right to meet the government's criteria of when, how and why an abortion can take place. For example: you don't have the right to choose an abortion after 24 weeks, and you don't have the right to have an abortion outside of a safe facility. So your 'choice' is limited. And no i don't believe God sent Trump, in fact, i find him rather annoying.
