  1. Because lone-wolf attacks by white people may be the result of personal grievances or have no ideological motivation whatsoever. Being a terrorist usually indicated being part of a larger organised group with clear ideological goals, which is why the IRA were called terrorists decades ago.

  2. Why do Muslims think all white people are Christian? In the West you have to be actively religious to be called a Christian, you're not classified as a Christian just by being born into a Western Christian nation. Most people in the West are secular.
