  6.  @PersonyPerson  It's not an either-or scenario mate. You can learn and impliment mitigation techniques alongside prayer. And i never said you did need religion to comfort anyone, but it helps many people.

And if it doesn't get in the way of 'mitigation techniques', then it is not an either-or scenario, and you're committing a fallacy if you claim it does. And your view of life seems devoid of empathy and understanding. Who are you to dictate how people deal with tragedy? Your arrogance is astounding. But let's be honest here, the real reason you oppose these people praying is not because you care about saving lives, it's because you're a disgruntled bitter atheist who hate any outward signs of religious worship. You're revealing your own insecurity by being intellectually dishonest.
