  7. ahmed essa, Natural law is natural law, it's real definition exists whether you acknowlege it or not. The 'complete opposite' is simply ignoring or twisting natural law to suit yourself. You're free to ignore it if you like, but God, who instituted natural law to guide us back to himself, will not count ignorance as an excuse on judgement day, because all of us were given reason, the ability to discover right from wrong.

  8. ahmed essa, Natural law exists despite God. We simply believe God instituted natural law and made it obligatory to adhere to. But you are right, anyone who doesn't believe in God can violate their own conscience as much as they like by surpressing their guilt and shame, but again, ignorance of God will not be an excuse on judgement day. If i'm wrong, then it doesn't matter. but, If you're wrong, i'd really hate to be you.

What is less commonly known is that sexual abuse in childhood can cause same-sex attraction, not everyone is 'born that way'. What's evolutionary beneficial about down syndrome and childhood cancer? Evolution isn't a factor here.

  14. Bob_Dole, 'Hate' is just a disagreeable response to someone elses perspective. What is hate to you isn't hate to me, and what is hate to me isn't hate to you. No one wakes up in the morning and says "i'm going to hate today", it just doesn't happen. It's like the abortion debate, one side think they're taking away women's rights, the other thinks they're murdering a baby, both have a different perspective that makes them come to radically different conclusions, yet both have good intentions. As to the afterlife, God will judge those who trangress moral law and fail to love their neighbour (all people). I don't hate gays, i simply recognise that sodomy is the misuse of the sex organs and therefore sinful. Being born gay isn't a sin, but practising sodomy is a sin. As i wish all people to get to heaven, i have to speak uncomfortable truths. So what you describe as 'hate' is in fact a loving act.
