Everyone knows it's wrong to rape, everyone has a conscience, just like everyone knows it's wrong to murder; people that rape know it's wrong, but do it anyway. People don't need to be taught not to do it (although i'm not against education), but there's must be a reason in place for why someone must adhere to their own conscience; Christianity provides that reason.

If you don't trust someone enough to want to marry them, then don't get married at all, but if you really know the woman well, then there's no good reason why you shouldn't. Stop being so defeatist.

  9. Deathmachine513 No, only Catholics believe that divorce is sinful, and they're a minority in England and the US compared to Protestants. Even Protestants more than a hundred years ago believed divorce to be perfectly acceptable if there was a good enough reason, so it's not due to religion, although religion may give people a better appreciation of marriage, thus making them more likely to work things through instead of just ending the union.

Of course guns are dangerous weapons, cars can also be very dangerous weapons, so how is removing all guns or cars logical?
