And the only reason most don't is because they are TAUGHT from a young age to share, be polite, to know boundaries and respect others, basically to copy their parents moral reasoning.   34.  @SarahB1863  I know about the pagan origins of Christmas and the real birth date of Jesus, but Christmas as we know it today, is a Christian festival, and has been for well over a thousand years. The date and origins are now irrelevant, because the festival is used as a celebration of the birth of Christ, with the solstice being a wonderful metaphor for Jesus bringing the light of truth to the world. So what is the point you're trying to make? That Christians shouldn't celebrate Christmas, despite the meaning being changed for well over a thousand years? If so, then atheists shouldn't celebrate Christmas either, as well as Easter.
