And only monotheistic religions say God will burn you for eternity, so it's interesting how you're attacking the Creator based upon monotheistic belief about the Creator. Your understanding of Theology is aweful.

Gonzalouch Ikari von Faustus No idea, the Creator is largely a mystery, although we can get a basic understanding of the Creator by studying the created universe and ourselves, "who are made in the image of God". This is why self-knowledge and natural-philosophy have always been a huge part of religious thought and practise.

"That is why atheism is the most logical position on the question of a God." lol, no, the most logical position is deism, anything else is merely an emotional reaction to Christianity, but i guess being trendy is more important than actual truth.

Marton Gabriel You misunderstand, no one becomes moral simply because they are afraid of eternal punishment, they attain virtue to gain a closer connection with God, God cannot be known by an impure heart, this is why Jesus said "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.", and this is why people become moral, to search for God. The earth is Hell, Hell is an eternal seperation from God (the ultimate good), the only escape is through asceticism, this is the path to eternal life, obtaining virtue is the first step. So it's a desire to know God and to gain eternal life, which is motivated out of love, not fear.

The US is very culturally Conservative and Christian, therefore it's no surprise to see most people identifying themselves as Christian without actually being a practising Christian. For example, many secular-Jews still refer to themselves as Jews, and many Italians still refer to themselves as Catholic, because their culture is so steeped in Catholicism, it's a part of who they are. So there's a big difference between a Cultural Christian, and an actual practising Christian. If you look at the statistics in European countries you'll find that most criminals identify as non-religious, or Islamic, for obvious reasons.  4. Name one Pope who was convicted of being a Pedophile? This is a disgusting accusation to make without evidence, no different than feminists who believe all men are rapists, and shouldn't be given a fair trial. 5. I never said there were no good atheists, i know many good atheists myself, there are good and bad in all groups. 6. Morality is subjective because we disagree? Strange logic there mate, perhaps one is right and the other wrong? 7. Of course being caring doesn't necessarily stem from being religious, my point is that religious people are more likely to closely adhere to their own moral conscience, thus becoming better people, going above and beyond what is expected of them by society. 8. Morality has everything to do with God, atheists can be moral without God, they just don't recognise the true source from whence it came. Morality was instilled within humans since the beginning, although we have not always lived by it.
