  11.  @nodiggity9472  lol, the entire judicial system is based upon the law codes of King Alfred, who based it upon biblical law and the Christian idea of the sactity of human life. Before Christianity the punishment for murder was just a monetary fine. Life was very cheap. And part of the government contains the House of Lords, which has members who are bishops of the Church of England. Educate yourself.

And I never said the sactity of life was exclusively a Christian idea, I said it's exclusively the reasoning behind English law. And a fine or not, life was cheap. You said religion has no bearing upon government, but it does, which I proved. Agents of the Church hold the power to make or break bills passed by parliment, which means Christianity is a part of English governance, which is a good thing.

MP's are just people, and people are flawed, with many being ideologues masquerading as public servants. When making future predictions it's wise to state that this isn't set in stone, otherwise you get doomsday cultists whose lives now depend upon it's existence, or their lives would cease to have any meaning. Maybe we should start hearing more from climate scientists instead of climate activists, then I might begin to care.
