  2.  @randyrandall2148  who is "they"? if ppl wanted gold as a currency, it could happen tomorrow, they dont want it though. Try buying your food or fuel with gold coins. They will literally laugh you off the premises. Gold is a nice commodity but not a good currency.

  10. FTX collapse is precisely the reason, why CBDC is a terrible idea. Your money can be taken and you will be issued a synthetic token (not even a real cypto currency) that will be able to dictate your cast/class essentially, are you an alpha chimp, a beta, or maybe your are a delta or gamma? this will dictate what you can earn, what and where you can spend, in relation to your "behaviour". This all seems benign, until you realize that it can then be leveraged to build a totalising state, where you have no say. He who controls the economy, controls the world.
