  7. Raising min wage is good for some, but hurts others as less employment overall. Giving away free cash incentivizes more ppl to move to the country demanding pay, claiming state benefits, which is unsustainable long term. If there was no income tax for regular wages, then ppl at the bottom would be much better off.

Some ppl don't understand money, assume Buffett owns all the companies in the world, they think if buffett gave everyone a dollar, they would be a dollar richer, but in fact, everything would cost more, since distributing money is quantitative easing so buying power reduces. More importantly, he would no longer be able to pay suppliers and wages for employees of companies he owns, so there would be nothing to buy with that dollar since nothing would be produced, as nobody was willing to put capital at risk.
