  1. The issue pointed to here, is the asymmetry of power. It is simply unethical to openly criticize somebody or a group, whilst simultaneously not allowing them to criticize you back, that is why some come to the conclusion, rightly or wrongly, that the game is rigged. It is hard to not see it that way, once you experience that asymmetry first hand.

  3. I have argued online for a long time, with Nuclear advocates, this is the key strategic problem. In fact nuclear plants without proper mil defense is strategic blunder. If you have one nuclear reactor serving each major city, all it would take it one enemy air raid to bring your country to it's knees. Not only do you take out the power, but you generate a vast uninhabitable land mass of toxic radiation. Which might be the plan in this case??!? Geo-thermal is the way to go, not dependent on fossil fuels, plus sustainable, plus can be made strategically sound from military defense view point.

  4. It is pure logic, he is operating out of the dictator playbook. The only thing that is weird is how long the world has courted him as if he is a respectable world leader. Having studied ww2 and sat aside whilst everybody called Trump literally Hitler, meanwhile, Put is literally operating a regime and reign of terror most akin to Hitler, yet nobody see's the parallels.

  6. This is the argument I have been making for years against Nuclear power, it is so dangerous. It takes one air raid to wipe out a country for centuries. You just carpet bomb the nuclear reactors and you have 4 Chernobyl on your hands.

  24.  @jayjaydubful  yes, you need air defense grid to protect nuclear power plants, which ukraine just does not have. I mean if one thing comes from this, I hope ppl think more strategically, I have been thinking a lot about geo-thermal power and defense grids lately, take a look into that.

  33. what is tragic, is most moderns experience of groups of communes of ppl , is terrible, so office, school, public transport, the idea of gathering with them is frightening to most ppl because you are seeing them, ppl, literally at their worst. if you happen to have experienced groups of ppl in worship to God, it is indeed magical and transcendent, and spiritual healing , even if you could explain it away with science.

  39. All it does, is signify that the global leaders of the West, have not studied WW2 in the way they are creating the same dynamic with Putin's Russia, as was created with Hitler's third Reich. Of course there are differences, but we appear to be blindly making all the same mistakes that led to WW2. Or, for the conspiratorial minded, they know exactly what they are doing by creating a pre totalising state, which can be switched into a totalitarian state.

  45.  @skylinefever  It is no coincidence that in a secular, atheist state, politcs becomes the God, and ppl lose their little minds over who is in power at any particular point. If the power structure is subject to God, ie, all equal under the law, you dont have to worry about who is in power all the time. Of course, religion can and has been abused as a power structure, but at least it attempt s at a morality and ethic, which is not existent in an atheist state as it descends into pure hedonism, narcissism and decadence, mostly traits of false idol worship. I am not here to say one system is better than another, just pointing out that atheist states though history follow the same patterns, culminating in collectivism through state worship and ultimately some form of communism or fascism. That is just a scientific analysis.
