@nickh5081 If you consume power from a power grid, it will not necessarily comes from your local power plant. Regarding hydro, it's not technically dirty but depends on how much the aquatic life is disrupted, then nuclear, well that's clean until it's not, as we know. It requires a stable political environment into perpetuity to ensure waste is handled properly. The problem is, when a plant is decommissioned, nobody wants to deal with the waste, so it can end up anywhere. If you think that is cynical, then either I am cynical or you are naive, but I do try to transcend cynicism when I can.
