  3. This was a really nicely written piece, and based AF. I am sure many bloomers can relate to this. For me, recovery from doomer was multi-faceted approach. I would not even say, contentiousness was the key as such, but that certainly part of the equation. I discovered philosophy in a broad sense, and engrossed myself in study of world history, world religion and also psychology. Nutrition and wellbeing is a massive part. Avoiding vice. As you eluded to, we all know deep down what we need to do. Stop engaging in nonsense and start contributing in a positive way to our selves, family, friends and wider society.

I think the definition of Boomer is off, to me, Boomer means, happy go lucky, the blissful ignorance is not that they are unaware of suffering, they just suppress it or distract themselves from it. They invite luck into their life, by seeking it, and avoiding bad things and negativity. To the younger generations they seem out of touch, but only to the extent they will not be drawn into endless doomer drama.
