  33. I hit a massive pot hole Saturday night on the A22 in the Ashdown forest Smashed my wheel and bent my Axle. I had to wait 3 hours for the breakdown recovery vehicle. It ruined my night. Spoiled my plans and will cost me hundreds of pounds in repairs because the council painted a faint white line around it that nobody can see in the pitch black middle of the night.

They have to charge a certain amount to be able to pay for its service, bins need collecting, roads need to be fixed, streets need to be cleaned. Life is not free. Someone has to pay for it and that's where council tax comes into it the clue is in the name.
