  2. Most of Russia's newer tanks 40 - 50 year old have been destroyed. The rest of their tanks are rust buckets left to rot in open air storage sites for the past 30 years. That's why Russia is now sending 70 year old T54's that have been salvaged from the scrap yards in to battle.
