They where not criminals. No offence had been reported. The police didn't even have their blue lights flashing. Classic over policing. I want my hard earned taxes to be spent solving actual crime , not having juiced up coppers going into Miami Vice Mode every time they see kids on a bicycle.

@CycolacFan You'd be dancing to a different tune when a speeding police van WITHOUT their blue lights or sirens on MOWS DOWN your child down in a 20mph traffic zone. Don't worry. I'll write a piffy comment about the world being a safer place without your child in it.

@joepopplewell680 So are you really telling me that you never rode without a helmet or gave your friend a lift on your bicycle? You must've been one of those friendless stay at home , sock humper weirdo kids and it's NOT a legal requirement to wear a helmet on a bicycle. It's advisory. Do or don't it's up too you. If they where riding on the pavement you'd still be moaning like a B!TCH about it. Back in my day , I never rode on the pavement , I stayed home and made love to my sock draw. 😂😂😂

@CycolacFan If your child was crossing that road "KABAAM. ROAD K!LL". They wouldn't have stood a chance at that speed. They ambulance crew would be scraping them of the tarmac with a shovel. That's why it's a 20mph speed limit in residential areas. The Police didn't have their sirens on or flashing lights and they where speeding. Like it or not , that's a CRIMINAL OFFENCE. But I agree the world WILL be a safer place without law breaking criminal coppers in it.

@joepopplewell680 YES IT DOES MATTER. Obviously you're not from the UK but here we have the rule of Law nobody is above it. Not even some random copper thinking he's Don Johnson. BLUE LIGHTS AND SIRENS WHEN IN PURSUIT OR RESPONDING TO A CRIME. Otherwise driving 1mph above the speed limit it's a crime and that is that and HOW where the teens meant to know the police wanted to pull them over if the police had not used their lights and sirens to instruct them to do so? People cannot read minds , ,you dimwit.
