  9. My father worked for the UK Ministry of Defence for 35 years. His "take" is that he is glad that it is not being rushed. It is a very complex thing to do and once it is started there is no retry. Also, the structure of it will be different depending upon the weapons available, it is worth waiting a little bit for further weaponry if necessary. I'm glad that my country are providing some more advanced weapons, I just wish that NATO not prevaricating and was standing on Ukraine now, and pushing Russia back behind its borders and keeping it there.   50. When I was a child, I was on holiday in the Lake District here in the UK just after the Chernobyl incident. The sheep farmers had to bring all of their sheep in, and it was illegal to sell meat and milk produced from the area. A lot of people bought Iodine tablets and used them for a few days, so that any radioactive isotopes that had been breathed in were pushed out of the body quickly. My dad kept Iodine in a cupboard in his shed for years in case of another incident like that.
