Not in the slightest. For several miles around a venue, nobody is allowed on a rooftop and manholes along the route and venue are welded shut. Period. Firearms screening at the venue is beyond intensive and invasive and somehow someone got a rifle and ammunition through, got on top of a roof and fired. That smells in a couple of highly specific ways and the chances of the Secret Service being involved is about as likely as our sun being a black hole. And this old retired soldier smells fish in the depths of the meat market. I'll wait for actual evidence before I say much more.

@UNSUBSCRIBE_T0DAY too close, I still champion them as co-emperors that care for Don Sr and Vance on our first Venusian surface colony.

If there was an audible failure at dive 80, there'd likely be damage observable at dive 50 - discernible after sectioning and proper microscopic analysis. Frankly, I'd have cleared it only for use as an experimental ROV, then at dive 50, withdraw it for full sectioning of all components to examine for degradation. Especially since the viewport was also woefully underrated for the depths it went to. And the carbon fiber fabric was expired and sold as excess expired product by Boeing. If the fiber wasn't expired due to resin age, the viewport fit for the depth, I'd still sacrifice a few units every 50 dives to begin acceptance testing with a few for experimental, non-revenue dives. Manned testing, probably around dive 300 and no damage or degradation observed. That's a hell of a lot of forces at work against the hull and massive changes from surface to depth and back, hence why one approaches things cautiously.

And the thousands of veterans in D.C. that are protesting.
