  1.  @Thechildishmandingo  they run off of JP-5, which similar tp Jet-A1 jet fuel, a yellow kerosene based fuel. Rhe engines being gas turbines. A stray thought did entertain me. Assign the Impossible Mission Force the mission of creating a gas turbine that ran off of bunker fuel. Then, go on vacation until they're ready to demonstrate a reliable model. I'd likely retire while still on vacation... ;)

  2. Depends upon the caliber, angle and a few other factors. Not too many bullets get used on ships though, the rounds are more artillery than like a bullet, with high explosive surprise gifts enclosed. ;)

  3. To keep the chains clean, never anchor. Even then, they'll need occaisional cleaning and painting.

  4. I'd like a similar scaled catapult installed on my minivan roof. Launch a drone, end up with the convertible minivan nobody ever bothered trying to make.
