  1. How about running another board (1 x 4?) parallel to the wall side frame rail, mount a leg to it, then notch the existing frame rail around the wheel. Then cut the slats to fit around the wheel. There will be a lump in the mattress at about your knee, but if you don't sleep up against the wall it probably won't bother you. Or the added width in the aisle is worth more than an annoying lump.
