Chinese history did not include Taiwan. The names of territorial lands China (born 1912 by the founder of RoC government) vs Taiwan (born 1624 by the Dutch). So, it is clear that Taiwan existed before China. Before China, the country were names by the country of the dynasty.

Taiwan state started in 1624 while China in 1912. So, Taiwan is 3 centuries older than China So Taiwan is great-great-great-great-great grandfather of China.

So, Taiwan citizens have better privileges than Chinese. So far you are not permitted to come to Taiwan unless approved by Taiwan embassy. That's the fact man. So, what's yours take?

China had been the territory of RoC. There was no legitimate transfer of China territory to PRC and that's the region of the governance rules. But Taiwan is now a unitary state meaning no provinces.
