  2.  @bishopbling4115  Absentee voting especially online voting is insecure. In person voting is more secure. Traditional paper voting is the most secure. Taiwan demonstrated it 20 million votes counted in less than 4 hours. Winners were announced at dinner time. That was smooth and fast.

  8.  @raininthesouth  That's how China's cheap version of takeover. The KMT welcomes Ma's previously stalled ECFA to allow Chinese permanent residency in Taiwan. It's easier for them to convert to Taiwan's citizenship and they will eventually became a force to China's influence in everything about Taiwan. That's really the cheapest way instead of costly China's military invasion.
